Welcome to this week's newsletter!
Hi Reader!
I’ve decided that this is the week I gently begin the work of transitioning my home from summer to fall. Trader Joe’s had their pallets of small pumpkins and gourds already and since I jump at the chance to grab a few the minute I can, that what I did. So those were added to our kitchen table last week, which you know.
Over the weekend, I found these pillow covers to replace the summer-themed ones for the front porch. And I love them because they speak to the blue of the walls! They’re also really pretty, actually.
You can get a pair here. It’s a link to my Amazon Associates' page and I may receive a small commission if you make a purchase through that link, at no extra cost to you!
My Beau and I cleared out the abandoned garden. Now it’s time to prepare it for winter. My mother suggested I grow my wild flowers in one of the beds in there and that’s what I intend to do! Next year, of course.
I’m still overwhelmed by the amount of maintenance for our home and I’m working on a sustainable routine to take care of it all. I believe I’ll get there. We’ve really taken our time in organizing and clearing things out from when my Dad passed away. I think that as we continue to put one foot in front of the other in that respect, the regular maintenance will start to feel more manageable.
